Formula Of Kaleshwaram Trio: 'Loot Local- Invest Local'

In a great display of public service and personal ambition, three senior engineers of the prestigious Kaleshwaram project named Muralidhar Rao, Hariram Nayak, and Noone Sreedhar have reportedly achieved what many only dream of; turning a state irrigation project into a personal wealth accelerator.

Estimates suggest the trio earned close to Rs 1000 crore during their tenure. But rather than hiding it in offshore havens or gold lockers, they generously invested in Telangana's future — primarily through luxury villas, high-rise flats, and commercial plots across Hyderabad. A clear case of "loot local, invest local."

The Enforcement Directorate has begun cracking down. Muralidhar Rao is already under two-week remand, allegedly for his suspiciously active bank accounts. His son, too, is under the scanner for running a company whose financial transactions are now the subject of an exciting new ED investigation.

Meanwhile, Sreedhar’s son recently hosted a destination wedding in Thailand — a modest affair by elite standards. The ED, touched by the sentiment, has reportedly asked for the guest list and the travel, hospitality, catering invoices.

Hariram Nayak remains low-profile, but sources confirm his name frequently appears in land documents around prime zones in and around Hyderabad.

In a parallel storyline, some names from Andhra Pradesh, including Raj Kasireddy of the YSRCP have also shown unwavering confidence in Hyderabad.

Despite earning their wealth from Andhra Pradesh, they have allegedly parked most of it safely in Telangana’s capital, skipping AP’s own real estate scene entirely. Amaravati, it seems, remains more of a sentiment than a settlement.

Economic observers have noted an emerging pattern, while Andhra gets the debt, Telangana gets the investment even by the looters.
