Why YSRCP Facing Trolls On Social Media?

Why YSRCP Facing Trolls On Social Media?

There is a certain knack to doing certain things. Without it, one may face trolls instead of receiving accolades. Let's get into the details.

Looking back at the recent past, when the TDP won three MLC seats, it breathed a sigh of relief. So far, so good. But to boost the interest and confidence of the party's cadre and workforce, some fake reviews were made and circulated, suggesting that the TDP would replace the power center in the state.

It is not known if the YSRCP leaders took this seriously and have been waiting for the right time to respond. However, a media group recently released a survey report, seemingly to boost the morale of BJP cadre ahead of upcoming elections in Karnataka and elsewhere.

The report also projected that the YSRCP would win 24-25 MP seats if the election were held today, giving it a 100% score in the survey. This caught the attention of many and attracted trolls. Had it been projected as 90%, there would have been some reason to believe it. It is not clear if the surveyor was aware that there are only 25 MP seats in total.

If these surveys are blindly believed and the party continues with the same overconfidence, they might face trouble at the actual election time. The same overconfidence made the party lose at least two MLC seats. So, the party members should take any survey report with a grain of salt.

The same applies to the TDP as well. The party should not over-celebrate winning three MLC seats and end up daydreaming. Real hard work at the grassroots level is the dire need now.
