Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Monday strongly refuted the criticism of Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu that Congress party was breeding Anacondas of corruption.
Botsa told media that Naidu's opposition and criticism on corruption was a joke.
“There is no bigger anaconda of corruption than Naidu. The TDP president had sown the seeds and also reaped the fruits of corruption in the State,” he said and asked Naidu to explain as to how he had earned crores of rupees although he started his political career with just two acres of land.
Botsa said that Naidu was afraid of facing a probe into the charges of corruption against him.
That was the reason why he got stay from courts whenever a probe was ordered.
He said people's representatives should face investigation to prove their innocence. However, he said that Naidu always avoided a probe.
