JC flies to Paris, to fight it out in LS!

Maverick Telugu Desam Party MP J C Diwakar Reddy, who created a ruckus in Visakhapatnam airport a couple of days ago for being denied a boarding pass by the Indigo Airlines staff, quietly left for Paris on Friday night without even bothering to tender any apology to the airlines staff.

JC, along with a 12-member family team, flew to Paris by an Emirates flight via Dubai at 10 pm. He would be on a 10-day holiday and would visit various tourist spots in Europe.

He is expected to return to Delhi straightaway for the Parliament session. Family sources say it was a persona trip which was booked well in advance and had nothing to do with the incident at Visakhapatnam on Thursday.

Sources say JC had turned down the suggestion of party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu that he should tender an apology to the airlines staff for his unruly behaviour, since it has become a national issue now with almost all the domestic airlines banned him from the air travel in the country.

He told the same to Rajya Sabha member C M Ramesh, who met him at the instance of Naidu.

JC told the party leadership that he had not done any mistake and hence, there was no question of offering an apology to the airlines.

He said he would write to the Union civil aviation ministry soon after his return from Paris detailing what happened at Visakhapatnam Airport and how he was being made a scapegoat in the whole issue.

He alleged that action should be taken against Indigo staff who deliberately denied him a boarding pass. “I will raise the issue in Lok Sabha and fight for my rights,” he said.
