Apple's Relation With India Going Stronger

Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed that the company achieved record-breaking June quarter revenues in over 24 countries, with India standing out.

Driven by strong growth in iPhone, Mac, and Services, Apple saw double-digit gains in emerging markets including India, South Asia, and the Middle East.

Mac revenues rose 15% year-over-year, and Services set a new record with 13% growth.

India played a major role in Apple’s global success. The iPhone 16 became the top-shipped model, helping Apple secure 7% market volume and 23% revenue share in the country.

Manufacturing has also shifted noticeably—71% of U.S.-sold iPhones now originate from India. Apple plans to open more retail stores in India and the UAE this year, expanding its footprint.

Despite tariff pressures under President Trump’s trade policies, Apple’s partnership with India is growing stronger.

Shifting production to India has helped Apple manage global costs while tapping into a booming market, turning geopolitical challenges into strategic advantage.
