Rebellion seems to be building up within the Telugu Desam Party as more and more TDP legislators directly questioning the style of functioning of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and pointing out the flaws in his government.
While Naidu is trying hard to create a feel good atmosphere for the TDP government, the party leaders are constantly pointing out the gaps in the governance.
They are caring a damn for Naidu’s threat of serious action against them, if they make any comments against the party in public.
In the latest instance, Guntur East MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy came down strongly against the TDP government saying that the government had done nothing for the district.
As Chandrababu laid the foundation stone for 1,20,000 urban development houses, Modugula pointed out that only 6,000 houses were sanctioned by the government out of 30,000 applications.
Claiming misuse of government schemes, Modugula said that CRDA is not giving importance to Guntur and is only focusing on Vijayawada.
In the coming days, more and more TDP leaders are expected to come out openly against the Naidu government, say party sources.
