Will Jagan Get Relief From Court At Least Now?

YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday made a last ditch attempt to get the exemption from appearing in the court in connection with the alleged illegal assets case, so that he can go ahead with his proposed padayatra without any hassles.

Jagan filed a petition in the CBI court asking for a six-month exemption from appearing in the court stating that he was going on a padayatra to understand the people’s problems.

At present, he is appearing in the court every Friday and he told the court that he would not be able to attend the trial court every week because of his hectic political schedule. The CBI court deferred the case to October 13.

The YSRC president tried all options, including meeting top central leaders and even spiritual leaders, to overcome this court hurdle.

He is hopeful that following his intense lobbying with the Central leaders, the CBI would come under pressure and might not raise objection to his petition for exemption from appearing in the court.

If the CBI does not oppose, the court might not object to giving him exemption. And that would be a big relief for Jagan. But if the CBI does not agree and the court remains stubborn, it will be tough time for Jagan!
