Telugu Desam Party MP from Anantapur J C Diwakar Reddy is known for calling a spade a spade and does not mince words even he wants to speak against his own party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Diwakar Reddy, along with the other MPs, stormed the well of Lok Sabha on Tuesday and raised slogans seeking justice to Andhra Pradesh. After the House was adjourned for some time, the MPs came out and spoke to media.
While the other MPs were a little polished in their comments, JC looked very much annoyed and blamed it on Naidu for being too soft towards the Centre.
“It is very clear that the Centre has humiliated the state. All these years, we have maintained a lot of restraint, but we could get nothing from the Centre. We have lost patients but our “mahanubhaavudu” (great leader) has a lot of patience and wants to stilly lobby with the Centre,” he said.
The Anantapur MP said it would be wrong on the part of Naidu to expect that the Centre would grant funds liberally through lobbying.
“It is time we take a decision on breaking away from the NDA, but our leader still wants us to wait and try,” JC said.
