Who should decide as to how many wives does actor-turned-Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan have?
Well, according to former Congress MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar, it is the headache of Pawan’s wives and not anybody else.
“They should decide among themselves as to how many wives Pawan actually has as per the Indian Penal Code. Nobody else should make any comment in this regard,” he said, addressing a press conference in New Delhi.
Vundavalli found fault with Jagan for making comments Pawan Kalyan’s multiple marriages.
“I feel that Jagan has made a mistake in this regard. As per the law, he has no right to talk about it. It should be left to his wives,” he said.
He pointed out that making personal attacks by leaders will pollute politics.
“There is absolutely no link between one’s personal life and his politics. People won’t cast their votes based on the personal life of a leader, but on what he would deliver if he is voted to power,” Vundavalli observed.
The former MP, who has been staying away from active electoral politics for the last four years, however, felt that going by the present trend, the winds were blowing in favour of Jagan.
“Pawan is no doubt a major factor but he should still grow stronger to become a force to reckon with. At the same time, one cannot underestimate Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, who is an expert in election management,” Vundavalli said.
