The Special Investigation Team (SIT), appointed by the Andhra Pradesh government into the sensational land scam in Visakhapatnam, has asked political parties and leaders to submit evidences, if they have any, about the scam, instead of making just political allegations.
SIT official T Yoganand told media that he would write letters to all the political leaders, who had made the allegations over the irregularities, to share evidences if they have any, pertaining to the land scam.
He said letters would also be written to ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Ch Ayyannapatrudu, who made the allegations on various platforms.
“We will appeal to them to share complete information and available proofs related to the tampering of land records,” Yoganand said.
The SIT authorities said they would not spare anybody and the investigation was going on at a brisk pace.
Stating that they had received as many as 852 complaints about the scam. However, no complaints would be received after July 15, they said.
