We have every Tom, Dick and Harry up in arms in Tamil Nadu against Andhra Pradesh for the encounter of their people even though the latter were smugglers. Such is the kind of unity among Tamilians.
On the other hand, we have Telugu people rejoicing when one of their own is ill-treated outside the State.
YSRCP MLA Roja’s car was not allowed into the VIP lounge in Chennai. Even though Roja personally told the authorities that she was an MLA, they refused and only gave permission for the car to come up to the entrance.
Andhra Jyothi, the TDP’s second mouthpiece after Eenadu carried this bit of news and mocked Roja that while she was forced to stay silent in the presence of the authorities, after coming out she threw a fit lambasting their behavior.
Instead of condemning the behavior of the Tamil authorities, Andhra Jyothi seemed to rejoice at te treatment meted out to an MLA from our own State, just because she belonged to YSRCP. No wonder, Vemuri Raddhakrishna’s name evokes such disgust among the public.
