Senior Congress leader from Rayalaseema J C Diwakar Reddy on Friday made it clear that he was in the Rajya Sabha election race.
Diwakar Reddy said that he would enter into the election fray on Samaikyandhra agenda. He said that he had already sought the support of the Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and other Samaikyandhra protagonist MLAs.
On the other hand, Ganta said that only a single candidate would be in the Rajya Sabha election fray on the Samaikyandhra agenda.
He said that he will take every decision only after consulting their former leader and Union Minister Chiranjeevi.
He said that they were fielding a candidate on Samaikyandhra agenda only to give a shock to the Congress party high command.
He said that the contest was between the Samaikyavadam and division of State. He said that the election would reveal as how many are extending support to them.
