Will Narsapuram MLA Kottapalli Subbarayudu join YSRCP? Earlier, MP candidate Raghurama Raju had asked Jagan to allot the Narsapur Assembly ticket to Subbarayudu. But Jagan refused to give the ticket to him and he drifted away from the party.
However, now it is being said that Subbarayudu is gearing up to join Jagan’s party.
Talk in political circles is that Subbarayudu will be contesting for the Narsapur Lok Sabha seat, while his brother Janakiram will be contesting for the Palakollu Assembly constituency, while Mudunuri Prasada Raju is likely to contest for the Narsapur Assembly seat.
Going back in time, Subbarayudu was a senior leader in Telugu Desam Party and even served as a minister. Later, he moved to the Praja Rajyam party. He then contested on the Congress ticket during the Narsapuram by-elections. At that time, Mudunuri Prasadaraju who won during the 2009 elections jumped into YSRCP and was disqualified. So, by-elections were held for the Narsapuram seat.
