The TRS seems to be upset at the humiliation of being rejected by the BJP. Daughter of TRS, Kavitha Kalavakuntla launched a scathing attack on the BJP at a programme on ‘Jammu and Kashmir’.
Kavitha questioned the silence of the BJP on issues like ‘Article 370’ and the ‘Armed Forces Special Powers Act’.
She also questioned the government on its plans to rehabilitate the Kashmiri Pandits and blamed them for not doing the same even though the Pandits were willing to return to their homeland.
“These were issues which the BJP had raised before the elections. Why is the Party now silent about the promises it made after coming to power?” said Kavitha.
Dear Ms. Kavitha, even your father had made umpteen numbers of promises before the elections and has not fulfilled any of them. Why don’t you question him first? Set your own house in order first.
As to your concern regarding Kashmiri Pandits, rehabilitation cannot happen overnight. Normalcy has to return to the Valley first. With Pakistani cross border terrorism along with separatists still active in Kashmir, any hasty action will result only in unfortunate consequences.
It is high time that Kavitha stops making statements on issues over which she clearly has no knowledge of any kind. But then that is the only way she knows how to attract attention!
