Pawan Welcomes Lakshminarayana Into JSP

Senior IPS officer of Maharashtra and former joint director of Central Bureau of Investigation V V Lakshminarayana has just submitted his application for voluntary retirement from his service and has indicated that he is likely to get into mainstream politics.

Though he is yet to take a call on which party he would join, there have been various speculations in the media as well as social media about his plans.

While one section says he might join the Jana Sena Party of actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan, other section predicted that he might join the Bharatiya Janata Party.

However, Pawan appears to be more interested in attracting Lakshminarayana into his party. He disclosed his interest while speaking to media on Monday.

“I have been hearing about reports that Lakshminarayana is evincing interest in joining the Jana Sena Party. If he is really interested, we shall welcome into the party wholeheartedly,” Pawan said.

He also lavished praises on Lakshminarayana’s administrative abilities.

“We definitely need persons like him as he is not only a man of integrity but also a person of tremendous administrative capabilities,” he said.

Pawan said he had met Lakshminarayana only once in the past.

“During our recent public meeting at Guntur on the occasion of party’s fourth anniversary, he sent me a congratulatory message. We had exchanged text message a few times,” he said.
