Pawan Hitting At Naidu's Weak Spots!

The ongoing Jana Portata Yatra of power star and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has brought out a true political leader out of him, unlike in the past when he was too tentative and immature in his criticism.

Analysts say Pawan is able to find the weak spots of Telugu Desam Party and its president chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Since he is able to speak about the local issues, rather than making wild comments, he could strike the right chords with the people.

Take for instance his speech at Kurupam in Viziamagaram district, where people have not been able to find any developmental works, including drinking water supply, because the local TDP leaders have been pocketing all the money in the name of Janma Bhoomi committees constituted by Naidu to oversee developmental works.

“The Janma Bhoomi committees are virtually looting the public money. People are not getting sanctioned pensions and no development schemes are reaching them because all the money is being pocketed by Janma Bhoomi committees filled with the TDP workers,” he alleged.

Pawan said Naidu should know that state does not belong to a single party and it belongs to the people.

“The Chief Minister is not leader of a party or community but of the entire Telugu people. The welfare schemes therefore, should reach all, including the Opposition,” he pointed out.

He also evoked a thunderous applause from the people when he attacked Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh. Reacting to the comments of the IT minister that the JSP is conducting long march on the roads laid by the TDP government, Pawan Kalyan quipped that there were no roads in Kurupam and the tribals suffered as there were also no buses to transport them.

“In any case, you have not laid roads with your own money. It is people’s money and we have every right to walk on it,” he said.

“When I asked a tribal girl what she wanted, she said please give us drinking water. That is their plight,” he stated.

He also noted that the tribals had to trek 70 km for medical treatment, and demanded the Government to set right things before the elections.
