Pawan goes into huddle with Naidu: What's up?

The sudden arrival of Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan at the Undavalli residence of chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday morning for a one-on-one meeting has raised a lot of curiosity in political and administrative circles.

Both the leaders have gone into a huddle and held discussions for nearly two hours on a range of sensitive issues.

Though it is not immediately known what transpired between the two top leaders of the coalition, speculations are rife that the meeting focussed on current political developments in the state following the SIT chargesheet on the Tirumala ghee adulteration issue.

Both the leaders have reportedly discussed about the strategies to counter the attempt of the YSRCP, the main opposition, to provoke tensions over sensitive issues.

They also discussed the issue of bringing about coordination among NDA alliance partners.

Naidu and Pawan have also discussed the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections and the Dy CM asked for a seat for Jana Sena party, out of four seats that are going to fall vacant next month.

Besides, allocation of nominated posts and key appointments also came up for discussion.

Both the leaders are reportedly worried about the behaviour of some of their respective party leaders, who are damaging the interests of the coalition.

The issue of Jana Sena Party MLA Arava Sridhar and TDP leader in Anantapur is learnt to have come up for discussion.
