The Telugu Desam Party government in Andhra Pradesh has been facing the wrath of farmers for not implementing the crop loan waiver scheme in the state.
In fact, most of the people who answered the questionnaire given by the YSR Congress party during its ongoing “Gadapa Gadapaku YSRC” programme have complained about the non-implementation of crop loan waiver scheme, as was promised in TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu in his manifesto before elections.
Ironically, the same TDP is trying to gain political mileage in Telangana by taking up the fight against the TRS government for not implementing the crop loan waiver scheme.
Naidu’s son Lokesh has taken up the responsibility of reviving the party in Telangana, is said to have identified the non-implementation of crop loan waiver scheme in the state as the major issue to fight against KCR government. He reportedly told the party cadre to highlight this issue very much in the coming days.
Lokesh has also decided to raise the issue of two-bedroom housing scheme which has remained a non-starter in Telangana.
He told the cadre that there is a huge demand from people for the houses and it is impossible for the TRS government to complete the task.
“We have to capitalise on this and expose the government,” he said.
What an irony!
