Lakshminarayana Not To Join Jana Sena!

Senior IPS officer of Maharashtra and former joint director of Central Bureau of Investigation V V Lakshminarayana, who recently applied for voluntary retirement from his service and indicated that he was likely to get into mainstream politics, is yet to decide on his political plans.

However, Lakshminarayana made it clear one thing on Saturday – that he is not going to join the Jana Sena Party floated by power star Pawan Kalyan under any circumstances.

“It is rubbish. I have no plans whasoever to join hands with Pawan Kalyan. It is all a figment of imagination by the media,” the former CBI officer told media in Tirumala.

He said it was true that he had applied for voluntary retirement.

“The Maharashtra government is yet to take a decision on my application. Once I am relieved, I will disclose my future course of action,” Lakshminarayana said.

There was a talk that the former CBI officer might join the Jana Sena Party, while another section predicted that he might join the Bharatiya Janata Party. In fact, Pawan openly welcomed Lakshminarayana into his party.

“If he is really interested, we shall welcome into the party wholeheartedly,” Pawan said.

The latest talk doing rounds in the media circles is that he is planning to float his own political party in Andhra Pradesh.

One does not know what his background is to launch a political party, but if he really takes a plunge in that direction, it is a big news.
