If the reports coming from New Delhi are to be believed, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will be sacked soon after the conclusion of the Assembly budget session, which is likely to end by February 15.
According to sources, the Congress high command took serious note of Kiran’s protest dharna in Delhi on February 5 against the proposed bifurcation of the State.
“All these days, the high command has given him a long rope with a view that he would fall in line one day. But the way he took the battle to streets of Delhi shows that he is not interested in continuing in the Congress party,” a top source of the party said.
AICC in-charge of Andhra affairs Digvijay Singh also reportedly told the Telangana leaders on Thursday that the days of Kiran were numbered. He could be sacked any time, he is learn to have told them.
Soon after the conclusion of the budget session, the high command might axe the Chief Minister for his persistent defiance.
It might ask Kiran to put in his papers and might replace him with a suitable candidate.
