KCR to declare early polls at Sept 2 meeting?

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is most likely to make an announcement on the conduct of early elections from the dais of Pragati Nivedana Sabha public meeting to be held at Kongara Kalan on the outskirts of Hyderabad on September 2.

“Why should I speak about early polls? You better listen it from KCR himself at the public meeting. I am also eagerly waiting for the day,” KCR’s daughter and Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha told media persons in an informal chat.

She said she was not the right person to talk about early polls.

“But we ready for the polls any moment. Whenever they are held, we are going to win hands down,” she asserted.

Kavitha also indirectly admitted having good relations with the BJP government at the Centre, but refused to comment whether it would join hands with the BJP in the post-poll scenario.

“Central elections are still a long a way to go. We shall take a decision depending on the political dynamics at that time,” she explained.

The Nizamabad MP also asserted that TRS is going to win in the next elections irrespective of when they are held adding that the party does not have any interest to associate with either BJP or Congress party.

She said that BJP will not get any seat in the next general elections which has five assembly seats now. And the Congress party will become a distant rival for TRS, she added.
