'KCR Is A Sadist For Students'

'KCR Is A Sadist For Students'

Leader of Opposition in Telangana Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Thursday accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of behaving like a 'sadist' against the students' community in the State.

Addressing a massive meeting at L.B. Nagar, which was organised in connection with Congress party's signature campaign seeking payment of Fee Reimbursement dues, Shabbir Ali pointed out the Chief Minister was acting against the students' community since he came to power.

Accusing him of playing with the lives of over 14 lakh students, he condemned the Chief Minister for not releasing the Fee Reimbursement dues for the last three years.

He said it appears that KCR was pursuing some hidden agenda against the students of Telangana State.

Shabbir Ali reminded that Congress president Sonia Gandhi had conceded the demand for Telangana in view of students' agitation and to prevent further suicides by students' community.

However, he said the same students have been pushed to streets by TRS Government. He said it was highly condemnable that the students who brought Telangana are now protesting on streets seeking clearance of Fee Reimbursement dues.

He said that the entire education sector was in doldrums due to the wrong and anti-student policies of TRS Government.

“Everyone thought that new State of Telangana would bring pens and books into the hands of students. However, the TRS Government forced them to hold placards in protest. Instead of spending time in their classrooms, they are on streets demanding clearance of Fee Reimbursement dues,” he said.

The Congress leader said that the Chief Minister was totally focussed on demolition-construction activity. Just like the old kings, who used to spend money on their forts, KCR wants to waste money on new Secretariat and other buildings to fortify his government.

However, he said that the TRS Government has no money to protect the careers of 14 lakh students. He said that the Chief Minister wants to erase Telangana's history by demolishing present Secretariat. But KCR is not realising the fact that confrontation with students would turn his rule into history soon, he said.
