Kanna looking towards Jana Sena?

Former minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kanna Lakshminarayana appears to be looking towards Jana Sena Party headed by power star Pawan Kalyan for his political career.

On Wednesday, Kanna had a lengthy discussion with Jana Sena Party political affairs committee convenor Nadendla Manohar, apparently to discuss the future course of action.

In fact, Manohar had gone to the residence of Kanna in Guntur for talks.

Though it is not immediately known what both the leaders had discussed, it is believed that Nadendla had sought Kanna’s support to the Jana Sena chief’s proposed bus yatra to commence shortly.

It may be recalled that Kanna has been unhappy with the state BJP leadership, particularly, the style of functioning of BJP state president Somu Veerraju.

He is upset that because of Veerraju’s attitude, Pawan Kalyan is distancing from the BJP and looking up to the TDP.

Kanna openly criticised Veerraju for failing to maintain friendly relationship with Pawan Kalyan.

“The whole problem in the state BJP is with Somu Veeerraju. He has become the sole authority in the party and nobody else knows what is happening in the party at all,” he said.

However, after the intervention of BJP national leadership, Kanna has become silent, but still, he has not been taking any active part in the party activities.

Against this backdrop, Kanna’s meeting with Nadendla led to the speculation that he might join the Jana Sena Party sooner than later.
