It has become a practice for the leaders of one party who defect to the other party to make wild allegations against the boss of their parent party, soon after their defection.
The leader, who they treat as the god till yesterday, becomes a demon the very next day of defection.
YSR Congress party MLA Giddi Eshwari, who defected to the ruling Telugu Desam Party on Monday, did the same.
Till the other day, she was praising Jagan and used to attack the rivals in strongest terms, if they made any comment against Jagan. But the same MLA is now making the same comments against the YSRC chief.
Eshwari told media that she was virtually kicked out of the YSRC and Jagan had not shown any mercy at her.
“It is true that I got the political birth in YSRC and I used to treat Jagan as a god. I was the one who established and expanded the YSRC in Paderu.
But for the last few months, I had been ill-treated in the party and a non-local leader has been made in-charge of the constituency, indicating that I won’t get the ticket next time.
I pleaded with Jagan, but he has not given any appointment to me,” she alleged.
She said she had believed Jagan a lot, but the latter had hurt her self-respect.
“He does not have any respect towards women and hard-working leaders. The YSRC will disappear from Paderu completely,” she cursed.
The YSRC MLA hoped that Naidu, who had developed Visakhapatnam district a lot, would do justice to her and focus on the development of Paderu as well.
