Speaking on the draft Telangana Bill in the assembly MLC Sheikh Hussain got it right when he said that the Seemandhra agitation was completely a people’s agitation and that politicians from the region were forced to join it for fear of being kicked out from their constituencies.
Hussain further added that if politicians continued to look after their own interests at the expense of the people, the latter would be forced to take the situation into their own hands.
These statements by him did not go do well with the other members of the House particularly the TRS and also Seemandhra politicians who immediately shouted him down.
Obviously truth is always bitter. Is it not?
