How Social Media Damaging TDP And YCP?

How Social Media Damaging TDP And YCP?

Social media groups of both TDP and YCP are damaging their electoral prospects with their senseless behavior.

Both groups are immersed in the dirt of of mutual trolling and personal attacks, wasting valuable resources and eroding the political discourse.

The TDP's social media group may focus on articulating their vision for the state's future under TDP leadership.

Regrettably, the TDP's social media groups are wasting their potential on repetitive claims of Chandrababu's integrity, Lokesh's innocence, and Amit Shah's discontent with the YSRCP government. While these may pull public interest for entertainment quotient, they will not translate into votes.

Likewise, YSRCP's social media groups need to shift their focus away from continuous opposition trolling. While it's reasonable to counter allegations from rival parties, an exclusive dedication to trolling wouldn't fetch any extra votes.

Instead, YSRCP's social media groups should spotlight their achievements, such as the inauguration of new housing projects by Jagan Mohan Reddy, which offer comfortable living in gated communities with parks and play areas for children. Although some pictures of this accomplishment are available in select groups, the YSRCP's social media presence fails to make these achievements go viral.

Votes are more likely to increase with enhanced visibility of developmental and welfare work, not with character assassinations of opposition leaders.

Jagan Mohan Reddy's successful fulfillment of promises from his manifesto in just four and a half years deserves recognition, but it remains unsung in the social media discourse.

On a whole the social media groups of both TDP and YSRCP are doing more damage than good for their parties.
