Height Of Kite-Flying By Telangana Media!

Height Of Kite-Flying By Telangana Media!

It has not even been 48 hours since Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao mooted the proposal for floating a third political front in the country and his intention to play a big role in national politics, the media in Telangana has started kite-flying in a big way.

While the TRS cadre raised slogans such as “Desh Ki Neta KCR,” some over-enthusiastic leaders already put up hoardings at different places in Hyderabad hailing KCR for looking up to Delhi to reform national politics.

This has given rise to several speculative reports in the media, stating that KCR is eyeing Prime Minister’s post after the 2019 elections.

Some sections went a step ahead and started speculating that he would contest the Lok Sabha elections in 2019, either from Medak or Nalgonda, apart from contesting the assembly elections simultaneously from Gajwel.

So, what will happen if KCR seriously takes to national politics?

A couple of prominent Telugu dailies have also come out with answers. They say KCR has already decided to name his son K T Rama Rao as his successor for the CM candidate in the next elections and that he would name KTR as the party’s working president in the party plenary to be held in April.

Some television channels conducted debates on how KCR is going to show a new direction to the national politics and how he can lead the nation. They have already taken it for granted that KCR is going to be the next Prime Minister.

And in the coming days, there would be speculative stories on what irrigation minister T Harish Rao would do in case KTR becomes the chief minister!
