Cong Has Lost Right To Rule!

Lok Satta Party national president Jayaprakash Narayan on Friday asserted that the Congress had no right to rule the State as the present government had failed on all fronts and had lost the faith and confidence of the common man.

JP expressed concern over the functioning of the State legislature and regretted that during the last one year the total business transacted in the Assembly was just 25 hours.

There was no coordination and cooperation within the cabinet as it lacked the basic principle of collective responsibility on any issue.

The people are wondering whether a government was functioning in the State at all though the cash for signing on files was going on unabatedly, he charged.

He lambasted AICC president Sonia Gandhi without naming her, that Andhra Pradesh was being bifurcated for vote politics to hand over the reins of power to her son.

He alleged that the Congress leadership was playing caste, communal and regional politics to garner votes in the coming elections.

He said there was a constitutional crisis prevailing in the State and all democratic norms were being trampled upon to bifurcate the State and thus unabashedly creating differences and bad blood among the people of all the three regions.

Whether the State is bifurcated or not, the people should remain always united, he observed and made a fervent appeal to powers-that-be in New Delhi not to push the lives of the Telugu-speaking into darkness.
