The biggest triumph of TDP in 2019 elections despite eating a knockout blow is winning all the four Assembly Seats in Visakhapatnam.
Ganta Srinivas Rao from Visakha North, PGVR Naidu from Visakha West, Vasupalli Ganesh from Visakha South and Ramakrishna Babu Velagapudi from Visakha East have won from the side of TDP.
But all of a sudden Ganta Srinivas Rao has announced his resignation as MLA much to the shock of TDP. The resignation was sent to the Speaker and the result is awaiting. It is needless to say that tha Speaker accepts the resignation.
Ganta has cited the reason that he has submitted his resignation as a protest for Visakha Steel Plant getting privatised by the Central Government.
Not stopping there, he started praising YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for writing a letter to the PM in the matter of protection of the Steel Plant.
Now, the other three MLAs are also in the mood to resign as MLAs as per the inside sources.
If that happens then the position of CBN as the opposition party head will be critical. He may have to lose his status as main opposition party leader.
