Buchepalli Back In Action In YSRC!

Buchepalli Back In Action In YSRC!

Former MLA from Darsi assembly constituency Buchepalli Siva Prasad Reddy, who has been staying away from the activities of YSR Congress party for quite some time citing personal reasons, is now back in action.

Buchepalli, along  with his followers, participated in the padayatra of YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at Chimakurthy in Prakasam district on Thursday, giving a new hope to the party ranks.

His re-entry is learnt to have given a big fillip to the party in the district, especially in Darsi constituency.

A powerful candidate in Darsi, Buchepalli has declared a few months ago that he is not going to contest the assembly elections in 2019, though he did not specifically say he would quit the party.

Obviously, he was upset with the local YSRC leaders who were trying to suppress him over the years.

He did not come down from his stand even when Jagan spoke to him and tried to convince him. For the last few months, he has not been participating in the party activities.

As Buchepalli declined to lead the party due personal reasons, Jagan had appointed B Madhava Reddy as party in-charge to the constituency.

However, on Thursday, Buchepalli came to Jagan along with his followers and held discussions with him. Apparently, the party chief accepted Buchepalli demands and the latter agreed to contest the elections from Darsi in 2019.

And Jagan gave a lot of priority to Buchepalli in his padayatra and gave clear indication that the latter will be the party candidate in 2019 elections from Darsi.

It is learnt Jagan got the reports that people are backing Buchepalli and he had more winning prospects than Madhav Reddy.
