BJP's Shocking Decisions In Allotting Tickets

The BJP has made some serious decisions while allocating tickets to candidates in Karnataka.

The party has chosen candidates based solely on their present stardom among the public in their respective constituencies, without giving much consideration to seniority or past track records.

Jagadish Shettar, a six-time MLA and former Chief Minister, was not given a ticket to contest this time. Similarly, Eshwarappa, another former Chief Minister-level candidate, was also not given a ticket in Karnataka. He was the 6th Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka from 2012 to 2013.

This is something that would be unimaginable in parties like the Congress and TDP. Congress kept young leader Sachin Pilot aside to satiate the power hunger of the old and outdated politician Ashok Gehlot in Rajasthan.

Even Rahul Gandhi couldn't retain Jyotiraditya Scindia, who jumped from INC to BJP in 2020 and is now the Minister of Civil Aviation. That's the reason Congress is facing a miserable situation in the nation.

We still see the obsolete Congress leaders like V Hanumanta Rao still craving for power in Telangana.

The same is the case with TDP. CBN and Lokesh keep saying that they give preference only to young leaders while allocating tickets, but that never happens. The old leaders in the party never leave the hold on the party head.

The decision taken by BJP while allocating tickets for candidates in Karnataka could be taken as a role model by other parties to survive through the next generation
