ABN plays mischief with PK again!

Much before snapping ties with the Bharatiya Janata Party and coming out of the National Democratic Alliance, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had been alleging that the Centre was looking down upon him and his party only because of its secret understanding with the YSR Congress party.

Even during his speech in the legislative council on Friday, Naidu alleged that while the TDP parliamentarians could not get appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi despite repeated attempts, the YSRC MPs could straightaway walk into the PMO and particularly, Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy was always seen in the corridors of Modi’s office.

He also pointed out that the Enforcement Directorate authorities have now started diluting the money laundering cases against Jagan.

“All this indicates the new found love between th BJP and the YSRCP,” he alleged.

The yellow media, as expected, has been adding fuel to fire by launching a smear campaign against YSRC and Jagan and projecting him as a BJP supporter.

On Saturday, ABN Andhra Jyothy channel carried a story saying Jagan's political advisor and strategist Prashant Kishor had a closed door meeting with BJP president Amit Shah almost at the same time when the state BJP leaders were holding a meeting with Shah.

The channel report said though it is not exactly known why Prashant Kishor was present at the meeting of state leaders with Shah, he reportedly explained in detail how a pre-poll alliance would benefit both the BJP and YSRC.

The report did not cause much surprise as there were reports that Prashant has also signed an agreement with the BJP national leadership to work for the party in the 2019 elections. Since he is also working for the YSRC, may be bringing YSRC into the BJP fold is also part of his overall strategy.

But, within no time, IPAC (Prashant's team) tweeted describing ABN channel report as absolutely baseless and mischievous.

Let alone meeting Shah, Prashant was not in Delhi on Saturday!
