Will Pawan open up on alliance at Jana Sena meet?

Jana Sena Party floated by power star Pawan Kalyan will be completing nine years of foundation on March 14.

The party is planning to hold a huge public meeting at Machilipatnam in Krishna district on that day to mark its entry into the 10th year of its foundation.

At the public meeting to be held on the foundation day every year, we have seen Pawan Kalyan making sensational statements.

This time, too, all eyes are on the power star on what he would say about the proposed alliance with the Telugu Desam Party in the next assembly elections.

At the Jana Sena Party foundation day public meeting held in Guntur on March 14, a month before the assembly elections in 2019, Pawan Kalyan made a scathing attack on the TDP, its president N Chandrababu Naidu and his government.

Right from the TDP’s failure to get special category status and inability to complete Polavaram project, Pawan took Naidu’s task at the public rally.

While his strategy did not help the Jana Sena Party in any manner, it definitely helped the YSR Congress party in that election.

During the March 14 public meeting held at Nagarjuna University grounds in 2022, Pawan Kalyan took a complete U-turn and hinted at an alliance with the TDP, which he had criticised in the past.

He declared that he would not allow the anti-establishment vote to split at any cost and called for unity among the opposition to pull down the Jagan Mohan Reddy government.

In the last one year, both Pawan and Naidu had given enough indications that there would be an alliance between the two parties.

Now that the Jana Sena Party is holding its annual mega rally at Machilipatnam, one would expect Pawan to come out with some more clarity on the alliance with the TDP and also his stand on the BJP.

Watch out for more developments on this front.
