What can builder do, when material is bad?

The decision of the Telugu Desam Party led by former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu to engage popular political strategist Prashant Kishor was taken with a pinch of salt by YSR Congress party.

Even as the media has gone into a buzz with the discussions of Prashant Kishor with the TDP leadership, the YSRC is watching the developments cautiously.

Party spokesman and state irrigation minister Ambati Rambabu, however, was quick to react on the developments.

He took to X to air his views: “What can a mestri (building contractor) do, when the material itself is not good?”

He said it was impossible for the TDP to win the elections, despite engaging any number of strategists, drawing any plans and roping in any number of Pawan Kalyans.

“Prashant Kishor will not be of any help to breathe new lease of life in the TDP,” he said.

Recalling the past statements of Chandrababu Naidu describing Prashant Kishor as a “Bihari dacoit,” Ambati said the latest development clearly showed how Naidu and Lokesh would stoop down to any level for their selfish political gains.

He said Prashant Kishor would, at the most, be useful for doing post mortem to the TDP, which would be completely become dead after the elections.
