Nandamuri Balakrishna’s mass action entertainer Akhanda is equally pleasing masses and classes.
While the film opened to packed houses in Telugu states, it was equally remarkable in overseas.
Balakrishna, Boyapati Srinu, Miryala Ravinder Reddy and S Thaman addressed media, after watching Akhanda’s special show in AMB Cinemas.
Balakrishna affirms Akhanda has resurrected divinity among Telugu audience.
“Telugus always encourage novelty in films. The huge response for Akhanda is evident of the same. Entire industry was waiting for the film. Akhanda’s success is not confined to the team, it’s the success of the industry.
People didn’t care about corona and came to watch the movie. Akhanda discloses many unknown truths. Everyone worked really hard for the film. We didn’t include any unnecessary elements.
Me and Boyapati usually don’t plan about next film in our combination. We together did lots of research for the film and the character. Thaman brought life to the scenes with his background score.”
Boyapati said, “We are happy with the unanimous positive talk for the film. Akhanda was released after 2 waves of corona and it made fans and movie buffs happy. After a long time, we get to see fans celebrating a film’s release like a festival. This success is industry’s success.”
