Many leaders who won the hearts of people have passed away in the history of independent India.
Almost every such leader received respect from the government with an allocation of government land to cremate and make the place a tourist spot.
Sometimes, when such attention is not paid by the government, the people and family members behind the leader put pressure on the government just after his demise.
But the matter with YSR's family is different. They didn't expect any support from the government. YSR's last rites were performed in his own family land at Idupulapaya.
The place is being maintained on par with any tourist spot. This is located at a distance of 90 minutes from Kadapa.
On the other hand, NTR though has a lot of personal lands including the one at Ramakrishna Studios, Nacharam, he was cremated and the tomb was made in the government land near Hussain Sagar. The road was also named NTR Marg.
Similar formula was followed by the family members of many deceased leaders.
This is something rare in the history of independent India.
