For the last few days, the Telugu Desam Party leaders including their president N Chandrababu Naidu have been making a big issue on the alleged social media posts against them, allegedly by the YSR Congress party cadre.
Senior YSRC leader and minister for municipal administration Botsa Satyanarayana condemned these abusive posts in the social media against Naidu, but said the TDP chief had fallen prey to his own old games.
On Monday, the YSR Congress Party has launched a counter attack by filing a counter-complaint with Director General of Police Gautam Sawang alleging that the TDP was indulging in obscene social media posts.
The party demanded stern action against the perpetrators as the content is highly objectionable and damaging.
Party MLAs Jogi Ramesh, TJR Sudhakar Babu, and Undavalli Sridevi alleged that the TDP leaders had posted abusive and obscene comments in the social media on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s family members and party leaders.
"Chandrababu Naidu and his son are using social media as a platform to defame YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his family. We have information that Chandrababu, Lokesh, and TDP leaders are behind this conspiracy," they said and gave detailed evidence supporting their compliant.
"Four days back Chandrababu Naidu has reported on social media posts about TDP leader Anuradha. Now see these posts. Social media posts on lady MLAs are very shameful," they said.
They alleged that the social media posts are being operated form Hyderabad’s NBK Bhavan, TDP office. Around 2,000 social media operators recruited by Lokesh are working on this.
“We have provided the evidences and are confident about the conspiracy,” they said.
