Kesineni Chinni admits links with Kasireddy!

Telugu Desam Party MP from Vijayawada Kesineni Sivanath alias Chinni, who has been indulging in a war of words with his own brother and former MP Kesineni Nani, admitted that he had connections with Raj Kasireddy, the prime accused in the alleged liquor scam that occurred during the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Chinni said he had met Kasireddy four times and both of them had even started a company together, aiming to develop it.

“In fact, Raj Kasireddy did not make any investments in the company and I had borne all the expenses for six months during the company's development phase,” he said.

However, Chinni said he distanced himself from Raj Kasireddy upon realizing the latter’s close connections with former chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and his questionable dealings in the liquor scam.

Chinni accused Nani of aligning with Jagan and falsely levelling accusations against him.

He alleged that the mastermind behind the Rs 3,200 crore liquor scam operated from the Tadepalli palace and only four individuals, including Raj Kasireddy, have access to the palace.

Chinni stated that a meeting recently took place in Hyderabad involving five individuals, aiming to divert attention from the liquor scam.

Reportedly, this meeting involved Dhanunjaya Reddy, Krishna Mohan Reddy, Govindappa, and a prominent individual from Vijayawada.

He also demanded a thorough investigation into alleged hawala transactions made through companies linked to Nani in Dubai, the U.S., and other international locations. He expressed readiness to cover the cost of the probe himself.

Chinni clarified that there are five to six companies within his family, all operating legally.

He announced plans to write to the CBI seeking an inquiry into the allegations made against him and challenged Jagan to undergo a CBI probe over the alleged embezzlement of Rs 3,200 crore.
