BJP announces six Lok Sabha candidates from Andhra Pradesh

On Sunday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its roster of candidates for six seats in Andhra Pradesh for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Among the candidates announced, Srinivasa Verma, the state secretary, will be contesting from Narasapuram.

The BJP also named Varaprasad as its candidate for the Tirupati seat, which is reserved for the Scheduled Caste community.

Other candidates include Purandeshwari for Rajahmundry, CM Ramesh for Anakapalli, Kothapalli Geetha for Araku, and Kiran Kumar Reddy for Rajampet.

Simultaneous elections for Parliament and the state assembly are scheduled in Andhra Pradesh, with voting set for May 13 and the counting of votes on June 4.
