Ban Eenadu, AJ reporters in Parliament: Sai Reddy

YSR Congress parliamentary party leader and Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy on Thursday demanded a ban on entry of Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy reporters into Parliament for publishing false stories against him a couple of days ago.

In a complaint lodged with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and also the privileges committee of Parliament, Sai Reddy alleged that the reporters of the two dailies for carrying a baseless story a couple of days ago that he was pulled up by home minister Amit Shan at the all-party meeting.

The YSRC leader said the story had been published without any journalism ethics and the reporters had not sought any clarification from him.

“False information was published in order to tamper my dignity and status,” he said.

He said that the false information about the all-party meeting had damaged not only his reputation but also the Parliament system.

Sai Reddy demanded that the entry passes of the reporters to the Parliament and requested that the Speaker take stringent actions against the reporters who filed the story.
