Gummadi and SVR were contemporaries where the former was a soft one and latter a very big egoistic. In a film where SVR was playing Harischandra and Gummadi playing Vishwamitra, the latter has to hit the former with leg on his fore head. Listening to this situation, just before the shot, SVR shouted a yell and said that none should hit on his forehead although that was a mere action.
“Who is Gummadi to hit me? No one is above me to do that”, he said then.
Then a straw image of SVR was made to make Gummadi hit on that with his leg. Gummadi shares this in a television interview in his own words. He also said that was SVR’s ego that came out because of his unbeatable ability in performing before camera. So, that’s ego that took genesis with big confidence and monopolistic feel.
