Manchu Vishnu, who won as the president of the Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA), has sought the appointment of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister to meet him formally.
Although he is related to CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, this meeting would raise his status further as he got an official position in the movie industry.
He wants to show the industry that his tenure as the president of MAA will be different from earlier presidents.
Vishnu never hid his close relations with the AP CM, and he should show that he does have clout in the Andhra government.
If he makes the government issue a favorable G.O for hiked ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh, it will be a huge achievement for Vishnu. Can he do that?
