Although the script of #NC23 starring Naga Chaitanya with Chandoo Mondeti directing it under Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts, the real pre-production works of the film to be produced by Bunny Vasu began only recently.
The story is based on some real incidents that happened in a village in Srikakulam and there’s a Pakistan connection to it, as revealed by the makers.
Films of these kinds need proper pre-production work so that nothing goes wrong during the production stages. While Chandoo Mondeti is doing his research work to bring authenticity, Chay is also trying to understand the body language and lifestyle of fishermen.
In the process, they first went to the village in Srikakulam and interacted with the fishermen. Then, they had a boat journey in Vizag to know the process of fishing and all.
This enlightening journey was shown in the first cut of documentation. There’s still left more for the team, in terms of pre-production work.
The regular shoot of this Pan India project commences this month.
