Sai Dharam Tej, who is currently busy with the film Virupaksha written and directed by Karthik Varma Dandu is touted to be a mystical thriller. The makers impressed everyone with a intriguing title glimpse.
Now, makers have released a risky sequence in Virupaksha. The team complimented Sai Dharam Tej's courage on the sets while filming the sequence. The team described how bravely Sai Dharam Tej worked for Virupaksha.
What happened on the sets was explained by director Karthik Dandu and cinematographer Shamdat Sainudeen.
"After recovering from a near-fatal accident in September, he returned back to shooting. There was a bike sequence, which he completed without fear. On a canal road, he must brake at a speed of 100 km/h."
"We were asking that we will manage but he said we're going to do this. I want to take out my fear. On one single take, he achieved it. He achieved it in a single take. Finally, the team stated with confidence that they created a fantastic film that they are all extremely proud of."
This film is a completely new genre for SDT. The film which is a special one in Sai Dharam Tej's career will be released on April 21, 2023.
The film features Samyuktha Menon as the female lead while Ajaneesh Lokanath is the music director. The film is produced by BVSN Prasad.
The film which is bankrolled under the banners SVCC and Sukumar writings has the screenplay by Sukumar.
