Tuck Jagadish Is Original, Not Copy: Shiva Nirvana

Natural Star Nani's Tuck Jagadish is releasing on September 10th as Vinayaka Chaviti Special.

The promotions of the film are on full swing and on this occasion, Greatandhra.com caught up with director Shiva Nirvana.

"Tuck Jagadish is on a larger span when compared to my previous films. It is made on large canvas and with more characters. The movie is also my transformation as a director and it has come out very well," Shiva Nirvana says.

"We used to be a joint family. At least 25-30 people used to sit together and have breakfast together. My love for my family may have prompted me to write this story. Some of the conflicts and quarrels I saw in my village and surrounding villages inspired the mass elements in the movie," the director reveals.

He also clarified about the 'copy' rumors.

"I never do that for any of my films. There is no connection for Tuck Jagadish and films like Balarama Krishnulu or Gharshana. Maybe the characterization of Nani is like never before in Telugu cinema," he said.

"The producers are very passionate. They made the film without any compromise and patiently waited for two years despite COVID. They tried to release the film in theaters at any cost. But one stage, there are no answers to their questions with lots of problems all around. They took the decision to release the movie on OTT with a heavy heart," Shiva Nirvana said about the producers.
