Trivikram Told Us To Make DJ Tillu In Our Style: Siddhu

Siddhu Jonnalagadda has played a typical Hyderabadi guy in DJ Tillu for which advance bookings are encouraging, thanks to the kind of euphoria the youth appealing promotional material created among the audience.

Siddhu in his exclusive interview with us says a character that has flaws will more generate interest.

“Mature or balancing is not interesting at least for me, when it comes to cinema. If the guy doesn’t have any problems, audience won’t feel interested. That’s why I presented the character Tillu in a flawed manner.”

The young actor-writer says stories come from his own experiences and the incidents he comes across. “In the beginning stages, we need to pick hook from our experiences to write stories.”

Siddhu affirms he is more interested in acting than writing. “I’m 51% actor and 49% writer. I’m more interested in acting and I’m not interested to write for someone else. Acting is my first love.”

He had learnt Tabla for 4 years and he says this is helping him for music of his films.

The promos give an impression that DJ Tillu is strictly targeted at youth. “DJ Tillu is a fully entertaining film. Every film has target audience. We can’t say that every film can be watched by everyone. If the targeted audience watch the film, it becomes a hit. If other sections too watch it, it’s an additional beneficial. DJ Tillu’s targeted audience is youth and masses. Those who love humor and thrillers among family audience will love it.”

The final runtime of the film is around 2 hr 4 mins. “We have almost 1 hour of deleted footage and we probably release series of deleted scenes, after the release.”

It’s a regular process that Trivikram Srinivas listens to scripts of the movies to be made under Sithara Entertainments and Haarika & Hassine Creations and also gives his valuable inputs, if needed.

“We narrated the story to Trivikram garu. He gave his opinions and ideas. He just told us to make the film in our own style.”
