Top 5: There's No Stopping Rajamouli's Epic

1) Baahubali 2: The Conclusion: It is natural for a film to slow down after two weeks of mayhem at the box office. But Rajamouli’s magnum opus defies logic and all certainties to be on top even after two weeks.

Baahubali 2 had a fantastic third weekend at the box office to add many more crores to its already overflowing kitty. New releases couldn’t even scratch let alone denting its collections.

2) Radha: Sharwanand who is known to tackle with big ticket movies took on Baahubali 2 with his commercial entertainer. However, Sharwanand’s latest film turned out to be a routine fare.

Although Radha fetched good opening in Telugu states, word of mouth being on the average side will hinder its prospects from Monday.

3) Venkatapuram: Happy Days Rahul aka Tyson has gone for a complete makeover in Venkatapuram, a crime thriller.

The low budget thriller has grabbed eyeballs with interesting promos, but it couldn’t live up to the promise. It has suffered due to badly conceived first half and slow paced screenplay.

4) Sarkar 3: Fans expected maverick director Ram Gopal Varma to rise back to stardom with the third installment of Sarkar.

Despite Amitabh’s towering performance and franchise advantage, Sarkar 3 ended up as a flop at the box office.

Ram Gopal Varma has once again made a half baked idea into a film that Sarkar 3 failed to impress fans and the critics alike.

5) Babu Baga Busy: Srinivas Avasarala’s attempt at adult humor turned out to be a damp squib. The remake of Hindi hit Hunterrr failed miserably at the box office and sank without a trace.

Buyers expected the film to attract a section of audience, but BBB couldn’t do so.
