Starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, the big Diwali release is expected to rake in at least Rs 40 crore on its opening day, trade pundits suggest. Keeping in view the film’s occupancy rate, it indeed looks like a possibility.
And while Thugs of Hindostan has set off fireworks at the box-office, the film has apparently failed to impress the film critics and audiences alike.
At least, this is what the many audience reviews on Twitter suggest.
Barring a few positive reviews here and there, the micro-blogging platform is replete with savage reactions to the high-budgeted film.
Heard that #ThugsOfHindostan is so bad that the audience started watching PM's demonetization speech on their phones.— Rafale Gandhi (@RoflGandhi_) November 8, 2018

I want to walk out of the cinema. This is torture. #ThugsOfHindostan— Mahwash Ajaz (@mahwashajaz_) November 8, 2018
After watching full film #ThugsOfHindostan, I can say with 100% guarantee dat it’s the worst film ever made in Bollywd. It’s a crime to waste 300Cr+ on such a worst film. Full film is about @fattysanashaikh and she is the star of the film with a top class performance. 0* from me.— KRK (@kamaalrkhan) November 8, 2018
