The trending topic on social media and among the net-savvy folks is the compelling web series, “The Family Man 2”.
The second season has garnered more eyeballs than the previous season.
While Samantha Akkineni in her debut has rightfully gone under the spotlight, the star of the show is the national award-winning actor Manoj Bajpayee.
The ‘Satya’ actor admits that unlike his contemporaries he found the love of the new generation of audiences thanks to the OTT shows.
He is one of the first Bollywood actors to make a debut in web dramas. 15 or 16-year-olds are taking pictures with him now.
“The Family Man” has contributed to his newfound stardom. Many of the 90’s actors have faded into oblivion, but Bajpayee gained bigger stardom than before thanks to his terrific performance as Srikant Tiwari in ‘The Family Man’ season 1 and 2.
Despite being a senior and more acclaimed actor, he is humble enough to admit that Samantha had done a better job than him in the new season.
“I was mesmerized by the amount of hard work Samantha put in,” he was quoted saying.
Manoj Bajpayee will return in the third season as well.
