RaajKamal Films International and Turmeric Media are jointly producing Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film with director Sivakumar Murugesan.
Produced by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran, the project marks Sivakarthikeyan’s reunion with the banner following the massive success of Amaran.
Extending advance birthday wishes to Sivakarthikeyan, the makers unveiled the film’s title and first-look poster a short while ago.
The movie is titled Seyon, which represents the deity of the hilly regions. The first look indeed carries the vibes of Murugan, whose mount is the peacock, giving the character a mythological aura.
Several peacocks stand around him on the ground, reinforcing the idea that he, holding a weapon, is not just living amidst nature but is symbolically aligned with divinity.
Santhosh Narayanan, who composed music for the blockbusters Dasara and Kalki 2898 AD, is on board for Seyon.
The makers will announce the remaining cast and crew at a later date.
